Our Story

Farming Heritage

The Mount family have been growing fruit at Woolton Farm for over 100 years. Today the business is still run by the family and diversified into drinks production, accommodation, hospitality, arable farming, managed woodland and grazing, countryside stewardship, residential and commercial lettings as well as still growing fruit.

The Future

Mark and Rosie Mount have run Woolton Farm through many decades. Together they have navigated a changing landscape and laid the foundations for the future of the business as the next generation take on the challenge.

Environment

As well as having a diverse mix of agriculture we also manage a range of wild and semi wild habitats and green corridors that have allowed wildlife and plant life to prosper. In 2023 we were accepted into the Higher Tier Countryside Stewardship Scheme.

We aim to strike a balance between managing an aesthetic and architectural lanscape and the natural world.

In recent years we have taken many steps to improve the environmental impact of our drinks businesses reducing the use of single use plastics and waste packaging considerably.
