Climate, aspect and soil
South facing aspect, on river gravel soils with sandy clays beneath. At only 145 feet above sea level and tucked beneath the top of the ridge, the vineyard enjoys a distinct and beneficial micro climate.
Bacchus (a German bred variety grown by us to make a still white wine)
Pinot Noir and Chardonnay (classic French champagne varieties grown by us to make rosé and white sparkling wines).
Our approach is all about small batches. We treat each year independently only producing a round 2,000 bottles per vintage.
We only grow for ourselves meaning we can focus on quality over high yields and adapt to natural conditions with ease.
So far we have produced 6 vintages since 2014 and below you can see what is currently available.
Our 2014 sparkling Rose uses the classic blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Produced in the Méthode Champenoise.
Lively and crisp with a toasty backbone that holds the flavours of raspberry and cherry long into the mouth. Produced in clear bottles to show off the salmon pink colour and to bring a smile to every celebration.
Ideal as an aperitif and accompaniment to special occasions.
From our 2014 harvest we produced a still single variety Bacchus.
Just dry with a hint of sweetness. The palate is fresh and crisp with flavours of ripe pear, apple and muscat fruit.
Ideal as an aperitif or with light dishes and oriental food such as Thai.
