Woolton Farm is managed by Mark & Rosie Mount. They are the third generation of Mounts to have farmed here. Mark’s mother Jane ran the farm for 10 years following the death of his father John in 1974. John took on the business after the Second World War and was responsible for introducing intensive fruit growing techniques during the 60’s. He took over from the business’s founding father Herbert Mount.
Mark & Rosie have two children, Camilla & Sam. Sam is now managing the cider business (Kentish Pip) and Camilla is employed in Education based at Birkbeck College London.
